We have decided to take a new approach to the academy model, one that will fit better with our overall club vision and direction.
Instead of just throwing teams together we want to move towards supporting and strengthening our existing teams. When a team has been identified as having the want and potential to play up, we will start the process of moving them to either a rec + or an academy league.
At that point if they need to add players or make changes we will reach out to that specific age group for interest. By doing this we will build more cohesive teams, keep the cost down, and deliver a better path forward for players and families committed to their progression.
We aim to develop higher level teams in each age division.
